About Crigglestone Nursery

Crigglestone Nursery has an excellent reputation built up over many years. It is a Local Education Authority School and therefore subject to the same educational standards and Ofsted Inspection Regime as other schools.

At its January 2006 Inspection The School was found to be "Outstanding" in every category: "This is an outstanding school. Excellent teaching, an exciting curriculum and extremely thorough care and support enable the children to achieve particularly well in both their learning activities and their personal development".

This report followed on from the December 2005 Integrated Care and Education Report (i.e. the report for providers of Day Care) which found "Care" to be "good" and "education" to be "outstanding" and stated "Leadership and Management of nursery education is outstanding and this enhances the children's care and education".
