About Nursery

Crigglestone Nursery is a Local Authority Maintained School. It opened in 1977 and has always enjoyed a very good reputation. It has been named twice in her Majesty’s Chief Inspectors Report as a very successful/Outstanding school.

The nursery offers a wide range of educational activities based on the Foundation Stage Curriculum and is committed to sound educational principles which give all children the opportunity to achieve to their full potential at the same time as enjoying their education.

At its January 2006 Inspection The School was found to be “Outstanding” in every category: “This is an outstanding school. Excellent teaching, an exciting curriculum and extremely thorough care and support enable the children to achieve particularly well in both their learning and their personal development”.
